Land for the Northside medic response station has been acquired through a lease with the City of Canby. This lease will be for 50 years and will cost just $1.00/ year. Preparation for housing is complete, with Canby Utility, City of Canby, Emerick Construction, Canby Excavating, and various other business’ involvement. Trees were cleared by the City and a prefabricated building kit was delivered. Permits were acquired and as of November 10, 2021, construction/land prep had begun! The foundation was poured and the building kit was put together. The open house for this station was held on July 2, 2022 and staffing of the station began shortly after.
