We recommend ABC extinguishers, which means they cover all types of flammables, including oil/grease, electrical, and wood. Extinguishers meeting these specifications can be found at most local retailers. Canby Fire recommends you have a fire extinguisher located in your kitchen, garage, RV’s, boats, and on each level of your house for easy access in case of an emergency.

Extinguishers may be recycled if you completely empty its contents first.
