Station 361

Station 361 is Canby Fire’s main station, built in 1996, located at 221 S. Pine St. This station is manned by paid personnel, volunteers, and interns and houses the administrative staff. Canby Fire District stations run on an A, B, C shift model where personnel are on duty at the station for 24 hours, off for 72 hours, on for 48 hours, off for 72 hours (or 1:3, 2:3). This means crews sleep, eat, shower, and work at the station during their shifts. Station 361 holds most of Canby Fire’s apparatus, including the first out medic/ambulance and engine/firetruck. Station 361 is also home to the 9/11 Memorial Site and annual remembrance ceremony.

This station has recently completed (2021) a remodel made possible by the passage of our 2018 Bond, thanks to our very own Canby Citizens. During normal circumstances, crews invite schools and youth groups to make appointments for tours and educational walk-arounds. This station is also the main location for community CPR classes.
